This Sunday was a little different in that my Aunt wasn't doing the cooking this past Sunday. She's in San Francisco and is coming home tonight. Instead, my mom was doing the cooking and making the desserts. For dessert, first she made Cranberry Orange muffins. They were made out of a dry mix, can't remember the name but it's a brand that I like and is well known. I have to say these muffins are a favorite of mine. I like anything with orange in it and I also like cranberries so put the two together and it's a match made in heaven. The taste is tangy and tart with a little bit of sweetness put in. They're so good. For my sister in law my mom made my Aunt's Allergen Free Pumpkin Cake(muffins). I know we had them last week but my mom didn't have time to research allergen free desserts.
All in all, the desserts went over big with the family so another thumbs up for Sunday's desserts.

Sunday Dessert Review for October 7th: Allergen Free Pumpkin Cake and Pumpkin Bread
Here's another dessert review for this past Sunday, October 7th and this ones a goodie. It's also ties in with the fall season. Can you guess? This past Sunday's desserts were all Pumpkin themed. This past Sunday's desserts were Allergen Free Pumpkin Cake and Pumpkin Bread. The pumpkin bread was really moist and the ends were crunchy and good. My aunt drizzled powdered sugar glaze on top of the bread and it was simply amazing. I like anything sweet and the pumpkin bread satisfied my sweet tooth.
For my sister-in-law my aunt made Allergen Free Pumpkin Cake. The glaze that my aunt put on top is also allergen free. The cake tasted sweet and was moist all the way through. The glaze made my day as it added a tasty touch to the cake.
All in all these dessert get a two thumbs up from me as well as the rest of my family. I like anything pumpkin so this was right up my alley.

Sunday Dessert Review: My Aunt's Homemade Brownies and Allergen Free Cupcakes
First let me tell you about my Aunt, she's the best. Every weekend she plans out Sunday Dinner and what to make for dinner and dessert. She spends a lot of money on groceries just for Sunday. Each and every Sunday afternoon she slaves away in the kitchen making dinner and dessert. So every week, since this is a dessert blog, I'm going to recap what the dessert was for Sunday and what I thought of it, so here goes.
This past Sunday, September 30, my Aunt made homemade brownies. They're not just brownies, they're chocolate chunk brownies. Yes, she threw in chocolate chunks that she had in her coubert. They tasted so good and I loved them so much. It's like every bite I took had chocolate chunks in it. So good! Two thumbs up for those brownies.
My aunt tries so hard to meet the dietary needs of my sister-in-law, who has an almost six month old baby who is allergic to dairy, soy, and eggs. She's breastfeeding and she has to make sure she doesn't eat any dairy, soy, or egg products otherwise the baby will get sick and get a rash all over her body and open sores as well. So this Sunday my Aunt made allergen free chocolate cupcakes with allergen free chocolate frosting. I took some home with me and I tried one and they tasted great. I had to try them to see what I was missing and man are they good! Two thumbs up here!
So that was a recap of what my Aunt made for dessert this past Sunday! Who's hungry?
